The statement highlights alternative approaches put forward by faculty, raises alarm over cuts to retirement benefits, reductions in course offerings, the pause on PhD admissions, and the outsourcing of Student Health Services. It calls on the New School community to stand together, attend the November 21 rally against cuts and layoffs, and join ongoing organizing efforts.
